staff responsible for website maintenance, help center support calls, and
statewide data security. Chaired state webmaster committee and state electronic

Assistant, Alaska Lt. Governor Fran Ulmer, 1995-1998.
Author and project manager of 1996 State of Alaska Telecommunications and Information
Technology Plan, involving coordination of task forces and public meetings,
writing and editing. Effort entailed organization of hundreds of people during
a nine month planning process. Carried State's electronic signature law through
the legislative process in 1998, including testifying to legislative committees.
Wrote speeches, letters, and press releases on technology issues on behalf of
the Lt. Governor.

In charge of all public communications for the department. Produced press releases,
radio and video news pieces, feature radio and video productions. Oversaw section
budget and supervised photographer and graphic artist. Designed and maintained
first State of Alaska department website.

Anchored and produced the local programs aired during NPR's "Morning Edition."
Programs featured local and state headlines, live interviews, spot and feature
news pieces, and special weekly segments. Also reporter/producer on spot and
feature news stories.
